On a regular basis, the RCCM Transformation Center hosts the Day of Care. During the Day of Care the RCCM Transformation Center staff together with its community partners offer lunches and dinners, haircuts, medical and dental examinations, AIDS testing, and counseling all free of charge to the homeless and to those in need in the community. RCCM is proud to have formed alliances with community leaders such as The City of Rochester, Wellcare, Unity Health, Foodlink, AIDS Rochester, Suny Brockport, Wegmans, and Eastman Dental to make this landmark event possible.

On May 31st 2008 The Transformation Center, along with Rochester Christian Church Ministries will be hosting, its 2nd annual Day of Care. The purpose of this event is to link with community partners so that we may, together, make an impact on the homeless & needy community.

The Day of Care will provide the following services:

• Hot Lunch
• Snack Pack (to take)
• Toiletry Pack (to take)
• AIDS Testing
• Blood Pressure Screenings
• Basic Dental Evaluations
• Hair Cuts
• Clothing & House Items
• Substance Abuse resources
• Live Entertainment
• Speakers
• Community Resource Information

We are expecting over 1500 individuals and families to attend, and will be providing services from 1PM to 5PM. Partner with us and help Day of Care make a difference in our community!
