All leading to our 40th anniversary celebration in October, each week RCCM will feature a Historical Picture of the Week. This week's photo is from April, 1976.

Children's ministries have always been one of the central pillars of the RCCM vision. Throughout RCCM's 40 year history, Pastor Stephen Galvano has invested heavily in children with such things as Rochester Christian Academy, Rochester Christian Daycare and Pre-School Centers, a strong Sunday School department, Vacation Bible School, and other programs such as Royal Rangers, Missionettes, and Rainbows. RCCM's children's programs and centers are even stronger overseas. In Pakistan alone, under the direction of RCCM's Asia representative Tahir Saleem, RCCM has sponsored nearly 100 Christian educational centers that touch the daily lives of thousands of children. At all RCCM Children's ministries, both local and international, the centerpiece of our vision is imparting the reality of Christ to our children.

At RCCM, we believe in the age-old truth that children are our future and we further believe that as you "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6).

RCCM's brightest days of touching the lives of children are ahead of us! We have amazing plans for the coming year including a new weekly TV show for children called "Star's Treehouse" -- based on the characters from RCCM's Christmas attraction "Raffadali's Great Adventure".
